President & Spokesperson - Jean-Paul Gauthier
J.P. Gauthier worked for the City of Toronto and Toronto Transit Commission for 30 years in a senior management role within the engineering departments, focused on capital infrastructure projects. He left civil service in 2014 to join a global infrastructure software company as a product and industry expert, a position he has held for the past 11 years. Over his 40+ year career, he has been involved with the City of Toronto Public Utilities Commission, City of Toronto Transportation Committees, and various provincial, federal, and international transportation and infrastructure boards and committees. JP has lived in Lagoon City for 7.5 years and enjoys playing and listening to music, golf, kayaking, cycling, spending time with family and friends, and supporting the Lagoon City and Brechin community.
Chairperson - William (Bill) Mason
Bill brings deep corporate experience, including 25 years at IBM in various roles such as facilities designer, supply manager, product manager, and brand manager. Bill has lived in Lagoon City for 15 years where he spent 3 years as property manager for his condo complex and worked as a local contractor for many homeowners in Lagoon City. In addition to his professional endeavors, he has volunteered extensively, serving on the board of directors for his condo association, and is a member of the LCYC, LCCA, and the Brechin Legion. Bill enjoys playing golf and darts, as well as extended boating outings with his wife, Nancy.
Secretary/Treasurer - Joan Clarke
Joan has over 40 years experience in accounting, of which 20 years were with Lafarge head office in Toronto as the accountant for all aggregate pits and quarries in central and southwest Ontario. Joan currently is the administrator for a real estate team in Keswick. Joan’s family roots are from Orillia/Brechin and she recently relocated back to Brechin in 2023
Membership/Communications Director - Donna Fletcher
Donna has lived in Lagoon City for 30 years and brings a background as a Senior Talent Manager in IT, technical, and executive recruitment. She’s partnered with organizations such as Avaya, Loblaw, and Purolator, placing senior leaders and building recruitment operations for start-ups. Beyond her career, she enjoys technology, playing piano, and volunteering with Hospice Simcoe to support families through bereavement.
